BEFORE STUDYING

The Master’s program International Business & Management was designed to meet the highest expectations of business students and employers worldwide. This program combines the latest findings from management research and business practice. Highly esteemed speakers guarantee state-of-the-art business knowledge and passionate discussions. Students will be equipped with interdisciplinary, intercultural competencies and extensive capabilities to understand and develop solutions for our economies and societies in a rapidly changing world.

OVERVIEW

What makes the program unique?

Students can choose two out of four specializations – Digital Business, Marketing Management, Innovation & Global Networks, and Financial Management – which are integrated into several highly attractive competence streams. The program is taught entirely in English and can be studied both full-time and part-time. The modern teaching concept combines on-campus classroom teaching with complementary online elements. Different international study options round off the program to gain international experience and apart from all this, MCI is known for its excellent study conditions in the breathtaking environment of the Austrian Alps. ADMISSION

Applications for admission are accepted on a rolling basis. The required documents are to be submitted online. Applicants are welcome to apply for multiple programs of study, as long as a plausible rationale is given. The final decision may be taken by the end of the application procedures.

  • Double degree program (two semesters) offered in cooperation with selected partner institutions, e.g. University of Economics Prague & Università Carlo Cattaneo
  • Semester abroad at one of our global partner institutions, e.g. Pepperdine University, Malibu, USA; Universidad ESAN, Lima, Peru; National Kaohsiung First University of Science and Technology, Taiwan; TBS Toulouse Business School, France; Royal Roads University, Victoria, Canada; NUCB Nagoya University of Commerce & Business, Japan
  • Two-week programs designed for MCI students to study abroad, e.g. Fundação Getulio Vargas University, São Paulo, Brazil; Fudan University, Shanghai, China; Royal Roads University, Vancouver/Victoria, Canada; Silicon Valley Institute & San Francisco State University Extension, San Francisco, USA
  • Internationally oriented classes at the MCI plus excursion

STUDYING ABROAD

One of the most essential components of MCI study programs is their international orientation. This is reflected not only in the curriculum and assigned projects, but also in the backgrounds of our faculty and students. Each program also includes the opportunity for students to spend a semester abroad at one of MCI’s many partner institutions.
